The roads seem to be up to date. I also bought a Lakemaster Gps chip. That is very cool, it shows you exactly where you are on the lake and at the exact lake depths. The only thing that would be nice for a updated model would be able to choose the shortest route verses the route that takes you out of the way just to use more state and interstate roads.
